This Privacy Policy explains how Pedalboard Designer (“we”, “us”, the “platform”, or the “service”) collects, uses, shares, and protects the personal data of people who use the website pedalboarddesigner.com. 1. Who is responsible (data controller)

- Account data: your name, email address, and profile picture. This comes either from email/password sign-up or from signing in with Google (see section 9).
- Content you create: pedalboards, custom pedals, lists, notes, and other content you build and save on the platform.
- Usage data: technical and navigation information (such as pages visited and interaction events) used to operate and improve the service.
- Session cookies: used to keep you signed in while you use the platform (see section 6).
3. How we use your data
- Create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
- Save and display the pedalboards and other content you create.
- Send essential emails (account confirmation, password reset).
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the platform.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to your requests.
4. Legal bases
We process your data based on the performance of the service you request, your consent (where applicable), compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the platform — always respecting your rights.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that help us run the service (processors), which handle the data according to our instructions:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
- Google — sign-in with your Google Account (when you choose it).
- Resend — sending the platform's emails.
- Vercel — website hosting.
We may also share data when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and for the platform to work (keeping your session active). Without them, we cannot keep you signed in.
7. International data transfers
Some of our providers store data on servers outside Brazil. By using the platform, your data may be processed in other countries, always with appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
8. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists or as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy. You can request deletion at any time (section 10).
9. Sign in with Google
When you sign in with Google, we receive only your basic profile information (name, email address, and picture), used solely to create and authenticate your account and personalize your experience. We do not access your contacts, emails, or any other data from your Google Account, and we do not use this data for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
10. Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, you may at any time:
- Confirm whether we process your data and access it.
- Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
- Request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data.
- Request portability of your data.
- Withdraw consent and request deletion of your account.

11. Account deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing contact@pedalboarddesigner.com. We will remove your data, except what the law requires us to keep.
12. Children
The platform is not intended for anyone under 18 without the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be announced through the platform.
